Charles Wayne Perkins, 84, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2025. Born on March 4, 1941, in Black Oak, Arkansas, he was the son of Charlie and Gladys Perkins. Charles was a devoted husband to Annette Perkins for 65 years, a loving father, and a cherished grandfather.
A man who cherished family above all, Charles found joy in spending quality time with his loved ones. He was an avid traveler, exploring new places and creating lasting memories with his family. His love for animals was evident in his deep bond with his dog, Annie, who brought him much happiness.
Charles’s legacy is one of love, dedication, and a zest for life. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
Along with his wife, Annette Perkins, he is survived by sons, Tim (Sharyn) Perkins and Brian Perkins; sisters, Kathy Paul and Sherry Gallagher; grandchildren, Mallory (Mike) Schroth and Stefanie (Britt) Chambers; great grandchildren, William Schroth, Henry Schroth and George Schroth and extended family members and friends to cherish his memory.
