Corey Michael O'Connell

Corey was born December 18, 1990 in Atlanta and was a graduate of Pope High School in 2009. He was attending Georgia State University and was Grounds Supervisor at The Country Club of Georgia. He was a member of the Catholic Church of Saint Ann in Marietta.

Survived by his parents, Tom and Joan O’Connell; sisters, Kelly Randazzo, Jennifer Robertson; brother, Tommy O’Connell; aunts and uncles, Joyce and Bill McShane, Kathleen Stockman, George Stockman; cousins, Colin McShane, Kate McShane and Daniel Stockman.

Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday June 17 at 11 AM at The Catholic Church of Saint Ann, 4905 Roswell Road, Marietta, GA 30062, with Father Nico Aye officiating. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell.

The family will receive friends between the hours of 2 until 9 PM, with a prayer service at 8:30 PM Monday June 16 at the funeral home.

Corey loved life! He was an avid baseball player and fan. He started playing at age 4, was selected for the All Stars, and continued playing all his life. He was thrilled when he got to join the Insight Team a few months ago. Corey loved his family but especially his friends. They have been his strength and support through good times and bad. We will forever miss him!
