Cristian "Pitufo" Amilcar Fuentes

He grew up with his grandmother in the El Calvario neighborhood of San Francisco Gotera.

He studied at the public school known as Unified.

He worked for years at Banco Fomento until he emigrated to the United States in 1999. He reunited with his relatives in Los Angeles to improve himself and to support his 2 children and mother.

In 2001 he met Cecilia Castillo with whom he formalized a beautiful family and had a son in 2002.

On May 12, 2012, he was able to bring his second child to the United States to make up for the time that was lost.

Years later he moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he and his wife founded a cleaning company, bought their second home, joined the Christian life, obtained permission for the first time to return to El Salvador to reunite with his daughter who he hasn’t seen in 21 years.

Our father and husband celebrated his 50th birthday without knowing he said goodbye to his family, friends, neighbors and acquaintances. He was very happy person and enjoyed the simplest things like laughing and dancing.

Cristian Fuentes nació en Cacaopera, Morazan en 1972

Creció junto a su abuela en el Barrio El Calvario de San Francisco Gotera.

Estudió en la escuela pública conocida como Unificada.

Trabajó por años en el Banco Fomento hasta que migró a Estados Unidos en 1999. Reencontrándose con sus familiares en Los Ángeles para superarse y sacar adelante a sus 2 hijos y madre.

En el 2001 conoció a Cecilia Castillo con quién formalizó una hermosa familia y con quién tuvo a un varón en el 2002.

El 12 de mayo de 2012 logró traer a su segundo hijo a Estados Unidos para recuperar el tiempo perdido.

Años más tarde se mudó a Atlanta, Georgia donde fundó junto a su esposa una compañía de limpieza, compró su segunda casa, se unió a la vida cristiana, obtuvo por primera vez un permiso para regresar a El Salvador para reencontrase con su hija a quien no veía en 21 años.

Nuestro papá y esposo celebró sus 50 años y sin saber se despidió de su familia, amigos, vecinos y conocidos muy feliz y disfrutando de las cosas más simples como reír y bailar.

A funeral service will occur Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 2000 Cobb Pkwy SE, Marietta, GA 30060. A committal service will occur Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Kennesaw Memorial Park, 1306 Whitlock Ave, Marietta, GA 30064.
