Daniel Lavon Singletary (Batman) age 39 of Villa Rica, GA passed away on February 21, 2024, at 5:27 in Birmingham, AL. He was born on May 19, 1984. Daniel attended Douglas County High School and Graduated from AAA College of Engineering & Technology where he laid the foundation for his successful career as a car restoration mechanic. Daniel, known as (Batman) was a gifted car restoration mechanic; his talent and passion for restoring cars were unmatched. He and his wife brought life back to many vehicles leaving a lasting legacy in the car restoration industry.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Brandy Singletary, mother Patricia Singletary, sister Denise Glover, Aunt Linda, and Zina Singletary. Two sons Nyquavius & Jalieo Singletary, Four daughters Dayshalina, Damaya, Khadijah & Jordan Singletary, grandson Dy’Tayshon Singletary, (stepson) Casey Wadley and two step-grandchildren and Uncle Felix (Jackie) Singletary, and eleven loving cousins. Additionally, Daniel leaves behind many members from the car club, motorcycle, and skate club that he was a member of.
Daniel is preceded in death by his grandfather Dan Singletary “in his name's sake” his grandmother Verise Singletary: of the Cherokee Wolf Clan” and his aunt Maria S. Jones and great-grandfather Solomon Singletary who opened the first Black-owned Car Repair Shop in Florence, SC still opened to this day.
His dedication to his children and his craftsmanship impacted the lives around him.
He will be cherished and remembered by all who had the privilege and honored to know him rest in Heaven Batman.
