Mrs. Burgess was predeceased by her husband of 67 years Mr. Bluford Burgess, sons Jerry Ray Burgess Sr. and Garry Lynn Burgess. She is survived by her sons Ronald Burgess and wife Diana of Powder Springs, Phillip Burgess and wife Vickie of Austell, Jeff Burgess and wife Audrea of Cedartown; daughters Sandra Burgess Marks and husband Lee of Jasper and Charlotte McBurnett of Marietta; 19 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 11:00am at the chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home.
