Following graduation from Hoke Smith High School in 1955, she met the love of her life, Berlin H. Mills from Roanoke VA. In 1957, the two married and moved to Marietta, GA. They were married sixty-one years before Berlin passed in 2018.
Dot had an accounting career lasting thirty-four years at Lockheed Martin in Marietta, GA. After retirement, Dot and Berlin enjoyed traveling and enjoying their two grandsons and their activities.
Dot leaves behind one son, Berl (Renee), two grandsons, Josh (Brittany) and Jake (Lindsey). Dot was so proud of her great grandbabies, Quinn, Tyner, Collier and Lainey.
Dot's family will lay her rest, next to her beloved Husband, Berlin, during a Graveside Committal, 11:00 am, Friday, April 3rd, 2026, on the grounds of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 2000 Cobb Parkway South, Marietta, Georgia, 30060.
