Douglas Kramer, age 78, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021. Douglas was born March 8, 1943 in Norwalk, OH to the late Marshall and Helen Wendt Kramer. He graduated from Norwalk High School and was employed with AT&T for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed sports, computers and cars. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Kramer.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn Heil Kramer; his four children, Keri Kramer (Sean Carr), Bradley Kramer (Tara Kramer), Jill Kramer, Stephanie Kramer; grandchildren, Maida Carr, Peter Carr, Greta Kramer and Lottie Kramer.
A memorial service for Douglas will be held Monday, August 9, 2021 from 1:00 PM H.M. Patterson & Son-Canton Hill Chapel, 1157 Old Canton Road Ne, Marietta, GA 30068 with Rev. Tim Locke officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, following the service. Interment will be held at Arlington Memorial Gardens at a later date.
