Earl Wynn Jackson

Earl “Tojo” Wynn Jackson, of Marietta, GA, passed away on February 22, 2023. He was born on August 6, 1947 in Tampa Florida. He graduated from Ensley High School in Birmingham, Alabama and the University of Alabama, Birmingham. He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Helen Jackson Evers and Earl W. Jackson, and his sister, Earline Jackson Beckner (James Beckner) and his niece, Karen Beckner Martin (Larry Martin), all of Birmingham. He is survived by his daughter, Helen “Kitty” Katharine Jackson (Patrick Brooks) of Baltimore; his niece, Vickie Beckner Bolin (William Bolin); great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. Earl moved to Atlanta in 1971 and lived in communities in the Riverbend area of the Chattahoochee River in Cobb County. Earl was a manufacturers’ representative, owner of EWJ, Inc, and co-owner of Future Sales, Inc. Earl loved golf, University of Alabama football, beach music and the Carolina Shag, and spending time with friends. The treasure of his life was his daughter, Kitty.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at Indian Hills Country Club, 4001 Clubland Drive, Marietta, Georgia 30068 in the Cherokee Room between 2:00pm and 4:00pm.
