Elizabeth “Betty” Lou Derham, age 87, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on January 19, 2019. She was born in 1931 to Luther and Thelma Landrum in Jefferson City, Missouri. She later graduated from Jefferson City High School. She was a homemaker, a devoted wife, loving mother and doting grandmother. In her spare time, she enjoyed being an active and participating member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, cooking, and spending time with her family. Betty was dearly loved by Jack Derham, her loving husband of 51 years. She leaves to mourn her loss and cherish her memories, two daughters, Lisa (Robert) Strader and Julie (Greg) Jbara; and four grandchildren, Caroline Strader, Sarah Strader, Zachary Jbara, and Aidan Jbara.
The family will receive guests between the hours of 4:00pm and 6:00pm on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at H.M. Patterson & Son – Canton Hill Chapel, in Marietta. The funeral service will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, in Marietta. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, in Marietta.
