Mrs. Evelyn Zimmerman, 87, of Marietta, GA, formally of Mission Viejo, CA, passed away January 30, 2014. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 16, 1926. There, she worked as a legal secretary until she married Frank W. Zimmerman, and then she devoted herself to her husband and children. In 1974, she moved to Mission Viejo, CA. A feisty woman, Evelyn loved to shop for bargains and was a competitive bridge player. In 2013, she moved to Sterling Estates in Marietta, GA where she made many friends. Evelyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be truly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank W. Zimmerman. Evelyn is survived by her sons, Frank A. Zimmerman (Julie), Curtis Zimmerman and Robin Zimmerman (Susan) and grandchildren, Jeffrey, Casey, Kyle and Corey Zimmerman. The family will have a private memorial service.
