Frances Lorene LaFollette was born in Hapeville, GA on August 13, 1932. She married John A. LaFollette on March 12, 1951, in Knoxville, TN. She worked for Sears & Robuck in the parts department until she retired in 1987.
She quietly departed this life at home in Douglasville, GA on Monday, December 10, 2018. As a result of her generous spirit and pleasant personality, she was loved by many. She had a smile and laughter that could light up a room. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by her husband, daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by, her father, George Sliger, mother, Fannie Campbell, step-father, Arthur Campbell, son, John LaFollette, Jr. and grandson, Michael LaFollette.
She is survived by her husband John LaFollette, Sr., daughter Diane Fowler, granddaughter Laurie (Randy) Harris, grandson Charley (Sommer) Daniel, granddaughter Kristy (Ryan) Killingsworth, grandson Josh LaFollette, grandson Johnny LaFollette, grandson Terrill Landers and granddaughter Tory LaFollette, as well as 13 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 o'clock, Thursday, December 13th, 2018, at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery, 2000 Cobb Parkway SE, Marietta, Georgia, 30060. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 o'clock, in the Chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home. Immediately following the funeral, her Committal will be on the grounds of Georgia Memorial Park.
In the last gift of love to Mrs. Lafollette, the following Grandsons, will serve as her Pallbearers: Charley Daniel, Josh LaFollette, Randy Harris, Tristen Harris, Ryan Killingsworth, and Todd McElroy.
