Genevieve Tramonte, 94, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on April 3, 2017. She was born the 9th of 10 children, in Raceland, Louisiana on July 21, 1922. She was married to August J. Tramonte on October 14, 1949. Genevieve worked as a receptionist for Oschner Clinic in New Orleans. She was a member of the Catholic Church of Saint Ann for 27 years. Genevieve was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and delighted in her family. She is survived by her son, Deacon James Albert Tramonte (Stephanie); grandchildren, James Tramonte, Jr. (Amanda), Karen Tramonte Kovacs (Chris), David Tramonte (Robyn), Patrick Tramonte (Sarah), and Mark Tramonte (Caroline); 15 living great grandchildren; and one living sister, Anna Breaux, of Gretna, LA. A funeral mass will be conducted at 2:00PM on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at the Catholic Church of Saint Ann, preceded by visitation from 1:00PM to 2:00PM.
