Harold M. Heiney, Jr., 81, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 3, 2012. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and retired from Hewlett Packard. He was active in the Methodist church. He was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida, before making his home in Marietta. Harold left behind his wife of 62 years, Mary, his 4 children, Hal Heiney, Christine Schell, Wade Heiney, and Celeste Meacham, his sister Faith Jacques, 13 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday from 6pm-8pm at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home in Marietta (770)432-0771. Funeral services will on Saturday at 1pm in the chapel at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home.
