
Mr. James T. Pullen “Ted”, age 76 of Marietta GA passed away July 14, 2011. Ted served in the Air Force for four years and then went on to work for Bell South and retired in 1994 after 38 years. After retirement he became a world traveler. Ted battled Lou Gehrig’s disease bravely for two years. He never complained and kept his sense of humor. He accepted the disease with grace. Ted was always dedicated to God, his family and his church. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years Diane Pullen, sons Jim Pullen and his wife Karen and Lee Pullen, daughter Jeannine Rodgers, grandchildren Julia Lopez, Elizabeth Greene and her husband Kenneth Greene, Austin Hanson, John Pullen, Christina Pullen, Brent Pullen and Nicole Pullen and great-grandchildren Madeline, Gabby and Katherine Greene and Landon Pullen. Ted was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter, Jeanette Bri Lopez. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 18, 2011 at 11:00am in the chapel of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
