

James F. 'Tiny' Moore, 82, of Marietta died Wednesday, October 5, 2014, after a long illness. He was born and raised in Calhoun, GA. He was born on July 5, 1932 to William Otis and Eunice (Casey) Moore. Mr. Moore was a U.S. Air Force veteran and spent most of his military days in England, Germany & Africa and all over the U.S. After leaving the military he worked in the restaurant/food service industry managing many restaurants in Cobb Co., Marietta, Atlanta, N. GA., & Alabama. Most notably were The Burger Ranch & The Pennant on the 4-lane and El Chico, a Texas franchise, in the newly built Cumberland Mall. He helped bring HIS store to #1 in sales and rewrote the El Chico cookbook for other stores to follow, which he was most proud of, along with downtown Davidson's, The GM Plant and Reinhardt College restaurant's.
He is proceeded in death by his wife, Agnes Elaine Moore, 1 step-son, M. Allen Butler, his parents, William and Eunice Moore, 4 brother's and one sister.
Survivor's include his daughter's Hilda Haney of Marietta,Debra Guess and husband, Kevin Guess of Canton, GA., granddaughter, Michelle Guess of Atlanta, GA., sister, Nina Jane Farrell of Calhoun, GA. and many nephew's, niece's, great-nephew's and great-niece's,and great-great's.
He loved seeing, visiting and talking to family and friend's, along with watching his favorite movies on the Western Channel!
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday October 5, 2014 from 1 untill service time at 2:00 pm.
