Jill Gardner Rone passed from this life to her new home in heaven early Saturday morning, April 13th, 2019. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Wallie Rone. She is survived by her daughter, Lynell Lorenne, from Grand Prairie, TX; her son, John Denson Rone, from Marietta, GA; her sister, Claire Grayson, from Portland, Oregon; and her five grandchildren, Alexander Turpin, Scott Turpin, Jonathan Busch, Jameson Busch, and Olivia Rone. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Emory University’s School of Nursing in 1963. She spent most of her career working at Kennestone Hospital in the Coronary Care and Cardiac Rehab Units. She enjoyed time with her family camping, water skiing, sight-seeing, as well as jogging, music, and gardening. She was very involved in her church with her Sunday school class, Bible studies, Missions Ministry, and choir. She was known for her sweetness and her genuine care, love, and concern for others. She spent many hours in prayer for friends and family. Her love, friendship, comfort and wisdom will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Mt.
