John Robert Cameli passed away on February 23, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on June 20, 1943, John made his home in Marietta, where he was a longtime resident and cherished member of the community. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Cameli who passed away in 2015.
John will be remembered for his steady presence, his dedication to his family, and the love he shared with those closest to him. He took great pride in his role as a father and grandfather, and his family was the center of his life. He attended Transfiguration Catholic Church.
He is survived by his sons, John C. Cameli and Michael J. Cameli; his daughter, Jennifer M. Cameli Beukema; one grandson; and one granddaughter. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and lasting memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
A visitation will be held at H.M. Patterson & Son Canton Hill, 1157 Old Canton Road NE, on Saturday, March 7, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
