I worked with John at Kimberly-Clark in Roswell. John was one of the good guys. I never heard him raise his voice, and I never heard him speak negatively of any person. I listened closely to what he had to say, and I always valued his perspective.

I also worked with John for many years in Roswell. He was a great guy - smart, helpful, hard-working and a great mentor and role model. My sincerest sympathies for your loss.

I worked with John in Nonwoven Research at Kimberly-Clark.  He was one of the best scientists I have ever had the pleasure to work with.  He made a difference in all the areas he worked on and helped advance Kimberly-Clark's technology to world class capability.  Even though he has been retired for some time, K-C still benefits from his great work.  In addition to his technical achievements, John was a true gentleman in all his actions and words.  The world needs more like him!!  My thoughts and prayers are for Nancy and Steve as they cope with their loss.

I am saddened to hear of John's passing. I worked with him while at Kimberly-Clark. He was kind, thoughtful and generous with his time and knowledge. My prayers are with his family at this difficult time. Wishing you peace.

I also worked with John for many years at Kimberly-Clark.  John was generous in coaching junior scientists such as myself and always helpful with his consulting, contributions and sense of humor.  He was respected and liked by those who knew him, as evidenced by comments from familiar names appearing here. Sincere condolences to his family.

I just learned of John's passing and am so saddened by the news.  He was one of my first managers when I started with Kimberly-Clark in the mid 80's and I will always remember how kind and easy going he was in his mentoring me.  I know he will be greatly missed. Just learned the sad news of John's passing. I had the pleasure of working with John for 25+ years at Kimberly Clark and shared many travels with John to many of the Kimberly Clark nonwoven production sites. John was always willing to lend a hand in solving problems and was truly an exceptional researcher. I'm sure that he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Very sorry to learn of John's passing.  He was a gentleman and very thoughtful and intelligent.

Learned the sad news today. John was a great contributor to Kimberly-Clark and an excellent person to work with. I regret that I cannot attend the funeral because I'm scheduled for knee surgery at the same time. My condolences and prayers are with you Nancy and your family.

Dear Nancy and Steve,
John was not just a fellow KC employee, he was one of our best friends.  He was excellent in his work, and always 'got it right the first time'  We were always glad to have him on our project, whether it was a new tissue machine installation or a problem solving project on existing equipment.  We enjoyed visiting him/you in Marietta and in your visits back to Wisconsin.  We will miss him dearly.  Please accept our sincere sympathy.

Nancy & Steve, I wish I could be there to give love and support to both of you at this time. Instead I will remain home with the little ones and support you from afar while Bryan is with you. John was a kind hearted man and I am so glad I had the honor of knowing him. He always listened intently to what others had to say and he smiled a lot which is what I will remember the most about him. There are never the right words to say. I was so sorry to hear of your loss.  The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

First met John when he came to the Fullerton mill when I was there in the early 60's.  Ever since, John has been more a friend then just a fellow worker.  May God bless him and keep him.

Nancy: We were saddened to learn of John's passing. He was truly one of the "good guys" and one that you could count on when he made a commitment. He will be missed by many. I remember in the mid-1960's John being one of the "Whistlers" at the Memphis Mill Christmas party along with Al Kolasinski, Bill McMillan, and myself. We brought the house down!
