John Wile was born on December 30, 1957. He grew up in Ossining, NY and moved to Smyrna, GA in 1986. He is predeceased by his parents Wayne and Carol Wile and survived by his wife, Danette, son, Nicholas, and daughter, Elizabeth Wile; his siblings, Stacy Wile, and husband, Mark Davis, Lee Ann Riesen, and husband, Rolf Riesen, Michael Wile and wife, Deborah Webster; his uncle, and aunt, Raymond and Martha Wile and their five children, along with nieces and nephews.
John attended Wabash College double majoring in Math and Economics which led him to his career of 35 years at Delta Airlines / Worldspan / Travelport eventually retiring as a Senior Software Developer. While in college, he actively played soccer and lettered in the sport. He always enjoyed jogging and would run in the Peachtree Road Race, Silver Comet 10K, Jonquil City Jog along with many races in Florida while on vacation.
He and his wife and kids would enjoy vacations every year at Ormond Beach and Orlando, Florida. Despite having flight benefits, John would prefer to rent a minivan for the annual drive down to the beach with them. John always enjoyed filling out the New York Times Sunday crossword puzzles each week, and he was also an avid New York Giants football
fan. He enjoyed going on many adventures with his family as much as staying at home with them.
