Johnnie was a godly woman who loved her church. Sharon Baptist Church was where she loved being. She was a member there for 60 years. If you knew Johnnie you knew she was going to give you a hug, she loved giving hugs. You also knew she had a second name, "Miss America", because she loved kidding around, if she met someone new or any doctor visit, they would ask her name and it was Miss America. She loved her family and loved taking long walks. She was happiest when she was outside walking full speed. And you don't call Mama at 7:00 because that is when her favorite show is on, Wheel of Fortune but Saturday was listening to the Gaither Vocal Band. She will be dearly missed by her family but May 3rd 2020 she had a great Sunday morning, she got to meet Jesus and she now gets to walk as long as she wants on the streets of gold!
In lieu of flowers if you would like to honor Johnnie, she would love for you to give to Sharon Baptist Church, 3405 South Cobb Dr SE, Smyrna, GA 30080. The funds will be used for needs at the church.
