Mrs. Johnnie Dunn Dobson, 98 of Marietta passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2014. Johnnie was a devout Christian and a member of Mt. Paran Church of God for over 50 years. She lived in Naples, FL for 10 years where she worked as an LPN at Naples Community Hospital. She had many passions in life including art, writing poems, composing songs and has even written two books about the Indians that are native to the North Georgia area. Mrs. Dobson is survived by her daughters, Iris Rhodes of Smyrna, GA and Karen Cox of Lawrenceville, GA; two sons, Geoffrey Dobson of Marietta, GA and Jon Dobson of Marietta, GA; thirteen grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow afterwards in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.
