Kevin Thomas Waters of Marietta, Georgia passed away on January 28, 2026. Kevin was born on September 11, 1970 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta to C. Britt Waters and Barbara Davis Waters, both of whom preceded him in death. He was raised in Atlanta, graduating from Riverwood High School and then from The University of Georgia in Athens. After graduating from college, he spent more than 30 years in the building supply business, ultimately working for Randall Brothers, where he considered all of his co-workers and customers as family. Kevin loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and also loved his family and the Georgia Bulldogs. He is survived by his children, Cooper and Reese and their mother Andrea; his brother Chuck Waters; his sister-in-law Kay Waters; his nieces Sarah and Lauren Waters; his stepmother Lee Lolkema of Edenton, North Carolina and her husband Peter; and scores of friends who loved him and will miss him dearly. Kevin‘s children, along with the rest of his family and all of his friends, meant the world to him, and he had the heart of a giant for each of them. A memorial service will be held on February 21, 2026, at 11:00am at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church, Marietta, Georgia.
