Mr. Sims was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years Mrs. Doris Marie Sims. He is survived by his daughter Kenese and husband Cole Picard of Norfolk, VA and son Larry Darnell Sims Jr. and wife Dana Sutton of Mableton, grandchildren Tylen Marie Sims and Tyce Darnell Sims, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 19, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the funeral home. Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. 770-432-0771
