Laura Susan McClanahan died on August 27, 2010 in Marietta, GA. She is the daughter of Mac and Muggs McClanahan and is survived by her two daughters, Lynn and Jill Jones of the Denver, CO area; a sister, Beth Hanlon and a brother, Luke McClanahan and her husband of 25 years, Dr. David Martin. Susie died in her home after a long battle with breast and lung cancer. She is to be buried in Oklahoma City, OK at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens on September 1, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
