

Benjamin and Dorcas McKinnon Ying. A high school graduate, she worked in both Guyana and Barbados and retired from UWI Cave Hill Campus, Barbados as Law Librarian. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting, crocheting and traveling. Leila is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Denis and Royston Ying, sisters in law Eunice and Yvonne and former husband Colin Barrow. She is survived by her children, Hugo Barrow (Ingrid), David Barrow (Tricia) and Mary Blackett (Maurice); grandchildren, Kimberley Blackett Williams (Jabrille), Jason Blackett and Neville Barrow; great granddaughter, Olyvia Williams; her brother, Neville Ying; son/nephew Colin Ying (Michelle); and many other nephews and nieces and a host of friends.
A celebration of life service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, February 8th at St. Catherine's Episcopal Church, 571 Holt Road, Marietta, GA 30068.
As reflected in Proverbs Chapter 31: [10] Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. [11] The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. [12] She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. [13] She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
