Leila Belle Driscoll

Leila Belle Driscoll, formerly Leila Belle McDaniel, age 81, passed away on March 18, 2016. Leila was born in Norfolk, Virginia, on October 2, 1934, and she attended Woodrow Wilson High School in Portsmouth, Virginia. She was the loving daughter of Robert and Frances McDaniel. She is survived by husband Jack Driscoll, sister Merle Chenoweth, and Bob Driscoll (son), DeDee Driscoll (daughter-in-law), Stephen Driscoll (son), Kim Driscoll Bearden (daughter) and Scotty Bearden (son-in-law). Leila was the beloved grandmother to Madison Stewart, Phakamani Bearden, Sisipho Bearden, Sabelo Bearden, Shelby Pallone, Shannon Driscoll, Hunter Driscoll, Garrett Driscoll, Kennedy Driscoll, Riley Driscoll, Parker Benson, and Paige Benson. She is also survived by one great grandchild, Karsyn Pallone. The Driscoll family lived in a number of locations, including Williamstown, Massachusetts, before making Marietta, Georgia, their home in 1979. Leila was a loving and devoted mother, and her favorite times were spent with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed the beach, dancing, and painting. Her adventures with her husband took her to a number of locations around the world, including China, Japan, and her favorite beaches in the Caribbean. She will always be remembered for her fierce and abiding love for her family. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 28th, from 4PM-8PM at H.M. Patterson & Son- Canton Hill Chapel located at 1157 Old Canton Road, Marietta, Georgia 30062. The funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 29th at 11AM at the Catholic Church of St. Ann, located at 4905 Roswell Rd, Marietta, GA 30062.
