Lisa worked many years in law enforcement after her military service for the United States Air Force. Her last employer was the Rocky Mount Police Department (NC) where she served as a supervisor of their Virtual Call Center. Lisa retired from Cherokee County Sheriff's Office where she served as a Deputy prior to her service at Rocky Mount Police Department.
Lisa enjoyed many things but some of her favorites were travelling, books and spending time with family and friends. She last travelled to Maui, Hawaii in March 2024 prior to her cancer diagnosis.
Lisa is survived by her husband Richard L Templeton, her niece DeLynn Anderson, nephews Robert and Jonathan Anderson, her sister-in-law Tanya Anderson (wife of DeWayne Anderson), her stepdaughters Jaslyn Hollowell and Brandye Terrell as well as some aunts, uncles, cousins and other loved ones.
Lisa was predeceased by her parents George Leonard Anderson and Betty Jean (Lowery) Anderson, her brother DeWayne Anderson and other loved ones.
Lisa asked in lieu of flowers to please make a donation to the American Cancer Society as well as any non-profit organization supporting Veterans or Law Enforcement.
