On November 5th, our beloved mother, Margaret "Maggie" Boatright, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family. Maggie is survived by her four children, Mark Kassler, Renee Johnson, Michelle Kassler, Jackie Hicks and her three grandsons, Austin Laurance, Tyler Johnson, and Zander Johnson, as well as her siblings Robert Johnston and Jane Hager.
Maggie was born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania to parents Hazel and Robert Johnston. Maggie and family moved to Marietta Georgia in the mid-70s where she lived with her late husband, Terry Boatright until her passing.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was also an avid golfer during the many years she lived in Indian Hills. During that time, she was ranked one of the top women golfers at Indian Hills Country Club. Maggie inherited a green thumb from her late father and loved to work in her garden and yard. Her other hobbies included playing bridge with “the gals” as often as possible.
She will be very missed by family and friends but feel comfort knowing that she is in Heaven with loved ones including her many furry family members.
