Mr. Melvin O. “Birdie” Lee, age 81 of Mableton, passed away September 8, 2010. Mr. Lee was the owner/operator of Birdie Lee Dental Lab for over 60 years.
He is survived by his daughters, Sherry Thompson, of Mableton, Debbie Carbone, of Powder Springs; sons Donnie Lee, Tony Lee, and Rebel Lee, all of Mableton; brothers Thomas Lee, of Smyrna, Gary Lee, of Mableton; sisters Betty Turner, and Catherine Hensley, both of Douglasville; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 10 at 2:00 PM in Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends Thursday evening 6-9 PM at the funeral home.
