

Michael Brent Manning, 48, lost his battle with cancer on February 4th, but he never lost his faith, his spirit and his love. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Calister, his great-niece, Nola, and his father and mother, Marvin and Bruna. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria, his son, Charles, brothers Frank Manning (Ann) and Col. Robert Manning, sisters Linda Dees (Skip) and Diane Bockus (Steve), and nephews and nieces Franco Manning (Faith), Michelle Crews (Penn), Danielle Bockus, Alexander Manning, Melissa Manning and Ryan Dees, God sons Christopher Cameron and Griffin Brown, and his best friend of 42 years Kevin Cameron (Linda). Michael grew up in Tampa, Florida and graduated from the University of South Florida in 1984. He was a senior vice president at MSL Atlanta where he excelled in his passion, public relations. He attained his APR designation and was an active member in PRSA, both in Tampa and Atlanta. He was a member of the Episcopal Church of St. Peter & St. Paul. The family wishes to thank all those who have sent such kind words of encouragement during this long fight. There will be a memorial service at the Episcopal Church of St. Peter & St. Paul in Marietta, Georgia on Monday, February 7th at 4pm. Subsequently a graveside service will take place in Tampa, Florida.
