It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Monica Anne Cadet, who departed this life on September 14, 2025, at the age of 25. Monica was a devoted daughter, sister, friend, and caregiver whose radiant spirit and unwavering dedication to others left a lasting imprint on everyone she met.
Born on June 17, 2000, Monica lived a life marked by compassion, faith, and purpose. She earned two associate degrees—one in Medical Assisting and another in Interdisciplinary Studies—and had recently graduated as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Her dream was to become a Registered Nurse, and she was actively working in the medical field as a nurse’s assistant, caring for others with tenderness and skill.
Monica was baptized at her home church, Berean SDA Church. She was a proud participant in the Pathfinder Club for many years, growing in leadership, service, and faith. Her contributions to the church’s Media Team reflected her commitment to sharing messages of hope and connection. A gifted pianist, Monica brought joy and peace through her music, often playing with grace and emotion that touched the hearts of many.
She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, who passed away five years earlier. Monica is survived by her loving father, Antonio Cadet; her cherished brother, Dylan Cadet; and a large extended family of uncles, aunts, and cousins who will forever hold her memory close.
A celebration of Monica’s life will be held on October 5, 2025, at Berean SDA Church in Atlanta. In honor of her passion for nursing and service, the family welcomes donations to the Georgia Nurses Foundation in lieu of flowers.
Though our hearts grieve, we find comfort in knowing that Monica lived with grace, purpose, and love. Her legacy will continue in the lives she touched and the dreams she inspired. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
