Patrice Frances Simons, age 65, of Atlanta, GA, passed away on October 21, 2025. Born in 1959 to Patricia and Richard Fitzpatrick, Patrice was a proud graduate of Burlington High School and Simmons College, where she earned both a BA and BS in nursing. She dedicated her career to caring for children as a nurse at Egleston Children’s Hospital.
Patrice found great joy in spending time with her family and friends, especially her sons. She also loved celebrating the arts and music, passions that brought her lasting happiness throughout her life.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Fitzpatrick. Patrice is survived by her father, Richard Fitzpatrick; her loving husband, Bob Simons; her beloved sons, Wesley, Drew, and Josh Simons; her cherished daughter-in-law, Jordan Simons; and her future daughter-in-law, Sally Wade.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Patrice’s memory be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Atlanta Humane Society.
