Patricia Hlas Bailey, age 92, of Marietta, passed away on June 30, 2025 and is now with her Lord and Savior. She was born in Muskegon, MI but raised in Chattanooga, TN. She graduated from Central High School and worked for Blue Cross/Blue Shield. She married Carl L. Bailey in 1954 and moved to Decatur, GA in 1956. She worked for two years at A&WP Railroad. In 1963 they moved to Marietta, GA and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church for over 60 years, where she taught preschool for twenty-seven years plus many years involved in VBS and other children’s ministries. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was preceded in death by Carl, her husband of 69 years and half-brother Joridan Sinis. She is survived by her daughter, Allison B. Leslie (John) and her son, Christopher T. Bailey, two grandchildren, Morgan Dunnam (Daniel) and Michael Leslie (fiancé Cassidy Philo), two great grandchildren, Shane and Arabella Dunnam, half-sister Barbara Lach, half-brother Rowland Sinis, and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services to be held Monday, July 14, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery, 2000 Cobb Parkway SE, Marietta, GA 30060 with Pastor Tim McDaniel officiating. Interment to immediately follow.
