He was retired from the U. S. Postal Service with 32 years of service. He was also a 50 year plus member of Calvary Baptist Church of Austell.
Preceded in death by his mother, Lula C. Lambert; sister, Joyce Sanders.
Survived by his wife of 63 years, Melba Lambert; son, Alan Lambert (Stephanie); sister, Juanita Vann (Howard); brother in law, Harvey Sanders; grandchildren, Alana (Babygirl) Jefferson (Joel) and Stephen (Sugarboy) Lambert; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday May 7, 2022 at 1PM at Calvary Baptist Church, 4780 Flint Hill Road, Austell GA. 30106. The family will receive friends from 11AM to 1PM at the church. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.
Those who desire, in lieu of flowers, may make contributions in Mr. Lambert's name to Calvary Baptist Church.
