R.L. retired from Lockheed Martin in 2000. He was a beloved longtime member of Macland Road Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Linda B. Steed; Sons, Robert K. Steed and wife Cindy; Jeffrey L. Steed; Keith A. Steed and his wife Dionna; sisters Loraine Frady her husband Jack, Sarah Bowen; his Brother Theodore “Scrog” Steed and his wife Iva as well as 10 Grandchildren and Several great grand children and his mother in law Katherine Brock.
Graveside services will be held at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery Friday Nov. 6 at 4 PM.
He was a beloved father and friend and will be dearly missed.
