Ronald Martin Meyers, 76, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on May 30, 2017. He was born in Union City, New Jersey to parents, Ethel Valentine and Frederick Meyers on October 6, 1940. He graduated high school from Saint Michael’s, and attended college at Villanova. His senior year at Villanova he was drafted by the NFL to play for the Cleveland Browns. Ronald was an avid sports fan, and he delighted in his family and storytelling. He was a member of the Catholic Church of Saint Ann, and a past member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church. Ronald is survived by his wife of 43 years, Barbara Laquidara Meyers; daughters, Lisa Stevens (Tim), and Courtney Hobbs (Jeff); and grandchildren, Jordan, Kinsley, and Madeline Stevens, Jackson and Aiden Hobbs. A mass will be held at the Catholic Church of Saint Ann, Marietta, Georgia, on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 11:00AM.
