Sheila W Wallace Smith

Sheila W. Smith, age 72 of Marietta, passed away January 8, 2012. Mrs. Smith was a retired auditor for the Internal Revenue Service. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and had a fond affection for both the Atlanta Braves and the Georgia Bulldogs. Mrs. Smith loved entertaining at home and traveling with her family. She is now joined with her husband Al whom she loved so much.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her beloved husband Alson T. Smith Jr., brother William A. Wallace Jr. and sister Evelyn Corey. She is survived by her sons Jay “J.D.” Whitworth Jr. and wife Loretta of Soddy Daisy, TN, Mark R. Whitworth of Cumming, John W. “Ace” Whitworth and wife Susan of Plano, TX; grandchildren Timothy R. Whitworth and wife Donna, Jeremy L. Whitworth and wife Natalie, Brandon E. Whitworth and wife Tina, Jennifer D. Whitworth, Praline “Tassy” Moore, Lauren Whitworth, Brady Whitworth, Ryan Whitworth, Jacob Whitworth; great-grandchildren Candace Whitworth, Brandon Whitworth, Brittany Whitworth, Bailey Whitworth, Maggie Whitworth, Cooper Whitworth, Jonah Lewis, Gabriel Lewis, Kamryn Whitworth, Tyler Moore; special friends Elaine McNeely, Carol Kidder, Bobbie Carll, Renae Clements and Brenda Glass; nephews David Wallace and Fred Wallace; as well as other numerous nieces and nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be Timothy Whitworth, Jeremy Whitworth, Brandon Whitworth, David Wallace, Anthony Clark and J.R. Austin.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 1:00pm at the chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Foster officiating. The family will receive friends from 11am-1pm prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to Embracing Hospice, 5775 Peachtree Dunwoody Rd, Ste.
