Stephen Richard Rhoads, age 77 of Marietta passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2019. A native of South Williamsport, PA, son of the late Philip and Leona Rhoads. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Rhoads, son, Andrew Rhoads of Marietta; daughter, Traci Rhoads of Atlanta; grandchildren, Ryan Rhoads of Atlanta, Taylor Rhoads, Marietta; brothers, Michael Rhoads of Westchester, PA and David Rhoads of Collinsville, CT; sister, Nancy Whipple of Valparaiso, IN.; several nieces and nephews.
Stephen earned his bachelor's degree from Penn State University and was a member of Penn State Alumni, Trout Unlimited and Buckmasters. He enjoyed the outdoors, and especially time spent with family.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, August 9, 2019 at HM Patterson and Son Canton Hill Chapel with Deacon Nick Morning officiating.
