With sadness we announce the passing of Suzanne Lloyd Canfield of Marietta on Thursday, May 7 2010. She was known by many as "Sweetie". She is survived by her husband, Richard G Canfield Jr, her daughters, Nancy C Carson, Emily C Hutto, and Charlotte E Canfield, her sons in law, Todd Carson and Kenny Hutto, her 5 grandchildren, Francie, Claire, Susie, Jake, and Charlie and her father, Charles F Lloyd Jr.
She was born July 14, 1946. She attended the Ellis School in Pittsburgh, PA. Susie was presented at the Cinderella Ball in 1964. She attended Briarcliff College in Briarcliff Manor, NY and Catherine Gibbs in Boston, Mass. For seven years she was Mr. JC Penny's secretary. Most recently, she worked in the Cobb County School System at McCleskey Middle School.
Visitation hours will be 5-7pm on Monday, May 10th at H M Patterson and Sons- Canton Hill Chapel located on 1157 Old Canton Rd Marietta GA 30068.
