Virginia Margaret Sikora, 92, of Marietta, GA, passed away April 17, 2016. She was born in Mansfield, OH to parents, Hester and Vernon Horst on May 13, 1924. Mrs. Sikora was active in the 55 plus senior group and enjoyed sewing. She was a founding member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Marietta, GA. She also volunteered as a poll worker as well as with the Fulton Thrift Shop. Mrs. Sikora participated in the Serra Club hosting meals for the Seminarians, and she attended fund raisers with her husband Ed. She is survived by: daughter, Kathleen A (Richard) Schlessman, of Norwalk, OH; grandchildren, Gregory R. (Amy) Schlessman, of Mainville, OH, Jeffery E. Schlessman, West Chester, OH, Bradley R. (Shelly) Schlessman, Centerville, OH, and Nathanial L. (Linda) Schlessman, Worthington, OH. A funeral mass will be conducted at Holy Family Catholic Church in Marietta, GA at 11:00AM on Friday, April 22, 2016 with visitation 1 hour prior at Holy Family.
