He was born November 26, 1954 and was a lifelong resident of Cobb County.
He is preceded in death by his father James Griffin, brother Edward Griffin and grandson Blake. He leaves his wife Nedra Carson Griffin, two sons Trenton Griffin of Hiram and Matthew Griffin of Woodstock, three daughters Beth Hirt and husband Brian, Katie Black and husband Eddie and Jenny Holifield and husband Danny and Brandy Griffin. Eight grandchildren, Lilly, Paige, Maddy, Ava, Alyssa, Cheyanne, Sammy and Haley.
He is also survived by his mother Lillian Griffin Greene and stepfather Bobby Greene of Marietta, GA, four brothers, Carlton and Donald Griffin, Tommy and Jimmy Greene and three sisters Wanda Crawford and Carolyn Blankenship and Wanda Smith and many nieces and nephews.
He was most happy when he had his children and grandchildren around him. He loved music, playing guitar and singing with his brothers. He loved and cherished family and friends.
