Annie Sue Reynolds

Annie Sue Clontz Reynolds, age 88, of Nebo, NC, was called to her heavenly home on Friday, October 30, 2015.

Mrs. Reynolds was born on December 9, 1926, in McDowell County, NC to the late Will Clontz and Bertha Parker Clontz.

She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church in Dysartsville, NC and was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. Annie Sue loved sewing, knitting, crocheting and quilting and taking care of her family.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Arthur Clontz, Albert Clontz, George Clontz, Willie Mae Hennessey, Grace Jones, Beva Lusk, and Edith Clontz.

Surviving Mrs. Reynolds are her husband of 67 years, Harold Reynolds of the home; her son, Steven (Sue) Reynolds of Shelby, NC; three grandchildren, Sandy (Sam) Gobble, Heather (Brad) Budgick and Kelly (Shane) Hildebrand; and twelve great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 2, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Freedom Baptist Church in Dysartsville, NC with the Rev. Bud Harmon officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Freedom Baptist Church Cemetery.
