Anthony Stewart Swepson

Mr. Swepson was born in McDowell County to Lula Arvis Logan Swepson and the late Cecil Swepson, Sr.

Mr. Swepson was a graduate of McDowell High School and he earned a degree in Business Administration atNorth Carolina A & T State University in Greensboro. He was a hard worker and strong minded man. Mr. Swepson never met a stranger and he loved his family. One of his favorite things to do was watch old TV shows.

In addition to his father, Mr. Swepson was preceded in death by his brothers, Karl Bradford Swepson, Todd Alan Swepson, and Cecil Swepson, Jr.

Surviving Mr. Swepson are his wife, Yola Swepson, ofNebo; sons, Brandon (Sandy) Swepson and Anthony (Amber) Swepson,Jr. both of Morganton; daughters, Talia (John) Dixon and Nikki (Larry) Thompson, both of Marion; abrother Jeffrey Lynn Swepson of Marion; sisters, Gwendolyn Gail Williams and Gloria (Larry) Boyce, both of Marion; grandchildren, Briauna Swepson, Kala Thompson, Ciaria Thompson, Bryson Swepson, Cameron Swepson, Ella Swepson,Anna Leigh Swepson, and Hannah Swepson; great-grandchildren, Brookelynn Swepson, Maddison Martin and Avah Martin.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 27,2017 at 12:00PM at Kirksey Funeral Home in Marion. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
