Billy Ray Roland

He was born January 19, 1927 in McDowell County, NC to the late Raymond Roland and Mollie McMahan Roland. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Dottie Gardin Roland.

Surviving Billy are one daughter, Sonya Mercuri and husband, Glen of Concord, NC; three grandchildren, Nicholas Mercuri of Oviedo, FL, Matthew Mercuri of Concord, NC and Carolann Mercuri of Concord, NC; and one sister, Betty Lands of Locust, NC.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Kirksey Funeral Home in Marion, NC. A private burial will be held at a later date.
