Buddy Ellison

He was born September 8, 1939 in Cocke County, TN to the late Fred and Nancy Hall Ellison. Mr. Ellison was a veteran of the US Navy. He was a Christian man who had a passion for music and working flea markets.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Sue Ward Ellison.

Surviving Mr. Ellison are three sons, Billy Ellison of Marion, Edward Ellison and wife, Teresa of Forest City and Hoss Ellison of Bostic; two daughters, Bonita Bradley and husband, James of Marion and Sissy Boggs and husband, Greg of Louisville, KY; three sisters, Nina Brewer and husband, Sterling of MI, Annie Brown and husband, Fred of Marion and Oma Kerley of Marion; special friends, Bobby and Becky Justus; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 10, 2013 in McCall Memorial Chapel at Kirksey Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Justus officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
