Daniel Henry Cook

He was born in Cleveland, OH, to the late George Henry Cook and Anna Liscovitz Cook.

Mr. Cook was a Veteran of the United States Army and was a member of the VFW Post 9157. He was a retired maintenance manager for Evergreen Apartments.

Mr. Cook is survived by one son Daniel George Cook on Candler, NC, three daughters; Kathy Lewis and husband Johnny of Marion, NC, Christine Crisp and husband Dennis or Robbinsville, NC, Elizabeth Betsy Jarvis and husband Mike of Mills River, NC, one sister, Patricia Ann Cook of Freeport, NY, 11 grandchildren; Stephen Shelton, Jessica Shelton, Jacob Shelton, Anna Crisp, Jessica Crisp, Justin Jarvis, Kerry Jarvis, Brooke Worley, Candice Pryor, Cody Jarvis, Kimberly Phillips, 13 great grandchildren, and his special companions and fur babies Miz Cookie, Misty Mae and Candie.

Private services will held at a later date for Mr. Cook.

Burial will be in Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
