Danny Ray Hall

Mr. Hall was born October 5, 1965 , in McDowell County, NC to the late Frank Hall and Barbara Johnson Hall.

He was a member of Catawba Heights Baptist Church of Marion and previously worked at Baxter’s Healthcare in the maintenance department. Danny Ray proudly served his country for 11 ½ years in the US Navy and was a disabled veteran. He was also an artist and drew free hand with the talent God gave him. He was a big hearted and very loving person and will forever be known for his outreach and care to people. His greatest joy was his family who he adored and loved so much, as they did him.

Surviving Mr. Hall are his wife, Rita Lynn Hall, of the home; his three daughters, Rebecca Strickland of Marion, Shasta (Orlando) Moody of Louisiana, and Evita (Robbie) Lyttle of Marion; four brothers, Barry Sanders of Marion, Randy (Annette) Hall of Connecticut, Richard (Kim) Hall of Marion, and Johnny (Jennifer) Hall of Marion; one sister, Patricia (Stanley) Wilson; seven grandchildren, Katie Strickland, Rayne Moody, and Luke Moody all of Louisiana, and Kristina Riddle, Heaven Riddle, Isabella Lyttle and Journi Lyttle all of Marion; 23 nieces and nephews and 11 great-nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Catawba Heights Baptist Church in Marion with Rev. James Walker and Rev. Robert Vance and Preacher Johhny Hall officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Oak Grove Cemetery with full military honors.
