Donald Keith Robinson

Donald Keith Robinson, 57, of Old Fort, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011. He was born August 19, 1953 to the late Issac Luther Robinson, Jr. and Lillian Simpson Robinson. He was a member of Highland Baptist Church in Hickory. He retired after 37 years of service as a track supervisor with Norfolk-Southern Railroad.

He is survived by step-mother; Jewell W. Robinson of Hickory, brothers; Charles ”Steve” Robinson”, wife Trudy, of Charlotte, Larry E. Robinson, of Hickory, sister; Janice R. Jeffreys, husband “Jeff”, of Newton, 3 nephews and 2 nieces, and two beloved dogs; Totsie & Rocky.

A celebration of life will be held at Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 2PM at McCall Memorial Chapel at Kirksey Funeral Home in Marion, visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at McDowell Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Animal Hospital of Marion, Inc. 1086 70 W. Marion, NC 28752.
