Jimmy Stevenson Gardin

He was born October 28, 1952 in McDowell County, NC to the late Luther and Virgie Gardin. Jimmy was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by four brothers, Kenneth, William, Roby and Cecil Gardin and two sisters, Elsie Carter and Dottie Roland.

Left behind to cherish Jimmy’s memory are one sister, Judy Jarrett and husband, Bob of Marion and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition, the family would like to acknowledge the staff of Hospice of McDowell County for their care and support.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 2, 2013 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Ray Davis officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
