Margie Robinson Elliott

She was born on October 3, 1925 in Yancey County, NC to the late John “Nass” Robinson and Lula Thomas Robinson. Mrs. Elliott was a charter member of Nix Creek Free Will Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Marion Elliott and her son, Danny Elliott.

Surviving are two daughters, Judy Davis and husband, Coy of Old Fort, NC and Delores Arnold and husband, Jim of Marion, NC; one sister, Sarah Murray of Elizabethton, TN; nine grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Friday, November 5, 2010 in McCall Memorial Chapel at Kirksey Funeral Home. Services will follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Daniel McMahan officiating. Burial will follow at Nix Creek Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
